My Dearest,
Ten years today. So many years and I miss you as much today as I did that first day. I knew it would be difficult but I never imagined that being apart from you could cause this much pain. I think only about being with you again. To hold you. To love you. To spend eternity with you.
I look out the window in my quarters every night from my cold outpost on Europa, through the trees in the biodome and the gas clouds beyond and find the star I know is earth and send you my love.

Initially I read it as the Moon calling to the Sun, her lover and then the second paragraph completely changed that – really nice.

I love that your character is on another satellite. The memories of Earth and the one this person loves so far away. Even though we experience this on a much smaller scale distance -wise, for lovers, it may as well be Europa and Earth, right?

This is a very sweet piece, I thoroughly felt for the lovers. Nicely done. One tiny concrit – “my cold outpost on Europa” sounds a tiny bit like esxposition, I think because quite a few words are devoted to it. Maybe you could just say “my cold outpost” and save the twist of “Earth” for the very end. Just a thought.

That’s an interesting thought. Leave out mention of Europa completely and have him some place far away, but unnamed?
Just a suggestion, but it would be my preference. Especially because Europa could be confused for just some weird (futuristic or whatever) name for Europe, and not another world at all.
